About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel!
I’m the counsellor behind CuriousNeuro Counselling, and my mission is simple: to create a space where neurodivergent adults and teens feel understood, supported, and genuinely heard.
My approach is person-centred and neuro-affirming, which means I focus on your unique strengths and experiences rather than trying to squeeze you into a one-size-fits-all approach.
I specialise in working with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, including those who are navigating a new diagnosis later in life.
ADHD, in particular, is an area of deep personal interest for me, which I’ve explored both professionally and personally. This understanding allows me to connect with my clients in a meaningful way and offer insights that are both practical and empathetic.
If you’re finding your way through challenges like executive functioning, rejection sensitivity, sensory overwhelm, social exhaustion, or feeling like you are living in a world that doesn’t understand you, I’m here to help you find strategies that work for you (and don’t involve endless to-do lists!).
I’ve always been fascinated by the neurodiverse mind and how we can embrace the differences that make us who we are. My goal isn’t just to help you cope but to help you thrive—to tap into your strengths and build a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me learning about the latest research on ADHD and ASD, spending time with my family or finding new ways to express my creativity. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to live authentically, and I’m here to help you do just that—one step at a time.
